Bring a cozy focal point to your home with the Aspen Hope Chest featuring a charming cedar lining. This versatile hope chest not only enhances your decor with its rustic design but also serves as a spacious storage solution for blankets, linens, and cherished keepsakes.

The Aspen Hope Chest is a great option for storing your belongings and personal treasures. The interior is lined with aromatic red cedar, which gives off a pleasant aroma and also acts as a repellent against moths. The chest is finished on all sides and showcases the contrast of the lighter planed aspen sides to the more gnarly organic look of the natural aspen log. For an even gnarlier look, the half-log front can be added. The chest features a flip top that uses two heavy duty hinges, making the connection between the lid and the chest itself a strong one. The chest uses a chain stop to keep the lid from opening to far and flopping backwards.

The hope chest arrives fully assembled!

The time between when the order is placed and when it ships is typically several weeks, and shipping can take anywhere from several days up to a week and a half, depending on your location. The order will be shipped via freight and will arrive packed on a skid.

This item includes free shipping anywhere in the lower forty-eight. For purchases not shipping to the lower forty-eight, please contact our sales team for a shipping quote.

We ship anywhere in the continental U.S. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout, and because most of our pieces are made-to-order, lead times vary. Once your order is ready, we’ll send you an email with your estimated shipping date.

Most of our furniture ships via LTL freight, meaning it will arrive on a 52-foot semi-truck. The carrier will call ahead to schedule a delivery. Here’s what you need to know:

In-home delivery is available upon request. Pricing varies based on location and order size.
Curbside delivery is standard. You’ll need to unload it yourself.
A liftgate is available for $50. This is helpful unless you have a forklift or extra hands to assist.

At Wildwood Rustic, we only craft our rustic wood bedroom furniture from solid wood, including varieties like white cedar log, red cedar log, aspen, and rough-sawn “barnboard” pine to ensure the authenticity and durability of each piece.

Wildwood Rustics will ship to any location within the continental United States. Shipping Fees will be determined at purchase. While some products are in stock, many items will be built after the order. Lead times vary, but you’ll receive an email with the estimated shipping date at the time of purchase. Shipping cost is included in the retail price for all orders over $150. A standard fee of $40 applies to anything below $150. Most of our furniture is shipped LTL, meaning it will likely arrive via 52’ semi-truck. They will call to make a delivery appointment and will deliver your furniture curbside, so you’ll be responsible for getting it out of the truck, in the driveway, and into the house.

There is a $50 charge for a liftgate. The liftgate is recommended unless you have a forklift or multiple capable people to help unload.
In-home delivery is also available and is priced on a case-by-case basis.
You will need to sign for delivery. Before signing, check for damage. If there is any visible damage, take plenty of pictures, and note the damage on the BOL beside the signature.
